June 2010 This sand martin was taken from a hide on a camera club day out at Blashford Lakes in the New Forest, Hampshire.
May 2010 My first ever trip to Scotland! Up at the crack of dawn to capture the beautiful reflections in Loch Tay from the private beach just five minutes walk from our lodge! Bliss!
April 2009 Whilst strolling alongside the River Exe in Exeter, Devon, I stopped to grab a shot of this restored maratime buoy. I was drawn to the vibrant colours of the sky and the red interior, choosing a diagonal composition for added impact.
March 2010 To enhance this otherwise fairly dull picture of a male mallard I gave it some texturising treatment in Photoshop!
February 2010 Another weather shot! These early morning sunrays were enhanced by the mist rising from the stream in Bournemouth Gardens.
January 2010 Whilst framing up these colourful beach hut reflections, this jogger obligingly appeared in my picture from the left, adding a little human interest to my shot! A timely entrance!
December 2009 Not a masterpiece by any means... just snapped this in the pouring rain outside my local B&Q store, whilst gearing up for a bit of DIY in the absence of any decent weather for photography!
November 2009 With only one day left till the end of November, I still had nothing suitable for my picture of the month! Hence I felt the need to drag myself along Poole Quay for an hour. In the end I decided this shot - taken after I returned to the car - summed up November pretty well for me... grey and wet!
October 2009 A glorious October day was ideal for the three mile walk to this waterfall on Dartmoor where we stopped for a picnic lunch. I couldn’t believe my luck when this perfect picture opportunity presented itself to me... Nicky - whom I didn’t know at the time but later got chatting to - made her way down to this rock where she sat quietly meditating for several minutes.
